I have Windows ME and Philips pcrw804. I use Easy Create CD 4.05 -- I used this before and it worked just fine. I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled all the same things i had before. now, my cd burner will NOT work....... i have updated my driver using flash tool and it said its working properly...

well, i begin to burn a cd and it gets to about 22% and then it stops and doesnt do anymore ........skips the rest and ejects cd with the Error of *underrun buffer Error* can anyone HELPPPPPPPP i have already wasted over 15 cd's :|

I would suggest you check your ASPI first of all.. You can download the ASPI fix file here that Laffin has been so generous to give to us:

This upgrade requires either An Adaptec host adapter or an Adaptec version of this ASPI layer be installed on your system...

this is the message when i try to run that ..... i dont understand, i have Adaptec, im running Roxio 4.0 right now but i have 5.0 platnum and it doesnt even work on my computer... it records the cd, closes session, but when i go to play it, its blank :|

what do i need to do now?

Also check if simulation is not selected.

My ASPI FIX does not require either An Adaptec host adapter !!!

Just make sure you follow the Instructions included Fully and you will have no problems also I wouldn't advise you to use any version of ASPI over 4.60 As was said before ASPI 4.60 is more than sufficient for Windows the Newer versions are just too problematic to mess with !!!
