whenever i try to burn some music it starts off ok but it always fails, i get "track reading error" and that's all she wrote. i have nero , and am running ME, can anyone tell me what i'm doin wrong, muchly appreciated[8]

Can you burn data discs ok?
There might be a multitude of reasons for your problems.
Please try to isolate the case of it by using, say, a rewritable and trying many different methods.
