HP have released the external version of the DVD 640, check it out here...

DW1625 now retailing in SG, got mine yesterday and just did my 1st LS burn.

LightScribe - Step by step in photos.

Get drive from BenQ, IT Show 2005.

Get media from Disc Shop.

Find Monica.

Fire up Nero.

Preview Monica.

Burn Monica.

And here's Monica in sepia.

just went looking for it at hpshopping.com and noticed they claimed wal mart of all places has them in stock! wel low and behold they did! im sure glad i stoppped here today... thanks again!! getting ready to install it now!! :)

seems there are no DVD lightscribe media yet.. plenty of cd LS media though...

if there is LS dvd media somewhere, please share the link here....

yeah ive been to the verbatim site and they DO have this media on the site, however i was not able to order any. i sent an email to them but have yet to get a reply...

this will save my precious printer fluid and paper purchase.... great!

hmm... id like to get my grubby little hands on smoe of that DVD LS media.. do you guys have Dual Layer dvd LS media or Single Layer?

ahh you guys... teasing me.. i need to grab soem dvd media...

fyi and what emperor told me back in the day.. the hp drive is a benq model also as confirmed on the label of the drive.. :) so seems you cant go wrong...
