I accidently added a bug in 1.10.1 which caused random behaviour when saving a file. It did save the file when using -auto-png via PxScan though :D

Changes in PxScan 1.6 + PxView 1.10.3
- added C1/C2 scanning (up to 48x scan speed on PX71x, up to 24x on Plextor Premium, up to 8x on PX71x when scanning Gigarec discs. Those limits are coming from the firmwares)
- selected scan speed is now verified

A good disc will have PIF <= 4 and I prefer to have a scale of 5 for PIF (when possible).

Could the PxView auto-adjust minimum for PIF be changed to 5, please?
Even at 10, a value of 1 results in a pretty long line on either linear and logarithmic scale... but I already made the minimum auto adjust value for PIE on linear scale configurable, i can do that with PIF as well

Yes please!

Is PxView capturing supposed to work when doing a cx (C1/C2) scan with PxScan 1.6 and PxView 1.10.3? It doesn't seem to work for me, although the scan results appear in the output file and capturing works with pie/pif/jitterbeta scanning.

Another thought on auto-adjust scaling:
It seems that the PIE auto-scale jumps from 20 to 100. Don't you think it would be better to jump like this: 20 - 50 - 100 - 200 - (300?) - 500 - 1000 - 2000 ?

Keep up the good work!

It's not yet supposed to work in capturing mode. I guess i'll make the scale steps configureable as well :P

C1 scanning was slightly b0rked, and PxView now has configurable settings for autoadjust.

- CU scanning works
- CD media type (CD-R, MS CD-RW, HS CD-RW, US CD-RW, US+CD-RW) is identified

great work alex!!

adding the accuracy setting for DVD format would be ideal too...

btw, beta/jitter for CD format also works?

beta/jitter for CDs should be possible sooner or later, and now that almost everything I want to work indeed works, stuff like accuracy settings are also possible :P

TA test can now be run at user defined positions on Layer 0 (Layer 1 is still only possible on predefined positions, as I don't exactly know how to interprete the position the drive wants to receive for Layer 1)
