I have been told that the new pioneer 109 will be out at the end of Jan. Anyone confirm?

More or less this is what we also have been told, i don't know if this info would be 100% correct

But the price really supprise me.
When the A08 was first on sale in the market, the price is around US$150!!!

Received 6 DVR-109 today. Downloaded new f/w v1.09 and tried to install. Got an error message on the first drive to the effect, "could not return to normal mode." Drive seems to be toast. Have not tried other 5 yet. Any input or comment is appreciated.

BTW, awesome set of people participating in this forum. I have been lurking here for last 6 months. Thanks!

Oh, also. You can pick these up at NewEgg for $86.50. OEM drive w/ shipping! No I do not work for NewEgg. There are other sites offering OEM drives, I just really like the service from NewEgg.
