Hi,

I would like to flash my drive with the current K.UC firmware with MTKflash and I tried several search-engines but cannot locate the bin-file on the web.
In other posts I saw it is possible to extract the bin out of the exe with a hex-editor but I don't know how to see when the bin starts.

Doing a backup of my K.LC firmware with MTKflash at least worked flawlessly.

Does anyone can somehow provide me with a K.UC-bin-file or tell me at what offset I need to cut the bin out of the exe?

Not very keen with those drives, tried checking over http://www.rpc1.org ?

Yes, this was one of my first resources to check as I remembered it from the time when I needed a new firmware for my laptop drive. There I can only find .exe-versions of the Acer/Benq (Khypermedia) firmware.

In fact I did several searches across the web but could only find links to the executable...
