I am 9 wires away from getting my new DSM3 mod chip into my v9 PS2. The nine I have left are the ones that go into the VIA (small holes on the board). I don't think I am using a very good flux, and the solder was recommended at the electonic components store, I have a 15 watt iron. Has anyone done this? Exactly what solder and flux did you use? I can't get the solder to stick to the points for the life of me. with all the other wires soldered to the board, not to the chip the PS2 works like new, so, so far so good. Need some help from someone who has done it. Thanks, JJ
