what i mean is that my brother burned some video dvds
with nero 6 but sometime the program would freeze at 100%
so we have to force eject the dvd. The dvds sometimes have pixelation & glitches  so is this an easier way to find those corupt burns
then having to watch each one?

There are three basic tests you can do with DVDInfoPro that can locate these errors
Speed Test
CRC test
PI/PO & Jitter

I would not be without it

Yup. As flash just said, the CRC or Error test is the one you are looking for! Live by it! :)

If a DVD scans in the error-scanner with errors and the blocks are RED, then you cannot "fix" this DVD, you will just have to burn another one, using:

i. Maybe newer firmware for the DVD burner
ii. Maybe better software to burn with
iii. Maybe better MEDIA to burn onto

This should result in less errors! :)
