Hi im looking to buy a dvd burner to burn ps2 games and i would like to know if it matters if I get a dvd -r/rw or a dvd +r/rw[?][?]

Hello
I am used to back up ps2 games with pioneer a05 dvd-r and TY discs dvd-r and till now all backups worked fine
I have also tested it with movies on a ps2 console modchiped with messiah and all worked perfect.
