hi all i'm in the process of buying a dvdr-/+ burner i:e sonys dru500 ( just acouple more weeks of saving) what i was wondering was is , if there is any backup software that allows the backup of a complete game including boot section so i dont have to chip/ mod my ps2 which is still under warrenty

any help would be gratefully accepted

I highly doubt that there is such a program. I suggest you mod your ps2. I have seen them for 50-100$. And, most of the mod chips require expert soldering skills, so unless you posess these skills, find someone who will install the modchip for you.
