I tried to flash my drive with this flasher and it says "drive not support". My drive identifies itself as Philips PBDV1640P with firmware B2.0
It is the same drive? How can I flash it?

Welcome to CDRinfo's Forum!

The previous versions was P2.1. No Bxxx. In that case probably it is not the same.

As for the name that the drive is been recognized under XP:

"PHILIPS DVDR1640P"

probably different flasher/firmware for the bulk version would be needed...
