I have a Samsung A10 Laptop and the DVD rom has died .
Instead of buying a replacement can i install any internal DVD Writer?
How can i find out what drives will fit into the casing of my laptop?

If I am not wrong the size for such drives is fixed. What Samsung recomments?

Otherwise you can go for an external solution.

i think all dvd writers for laptop should have same dimensions, might want to check with your laptop manufacturer about this
