Dear members

I bought a CRW-F1 yesterday. I am in UAE - DUbai, It came with a bundled NERo software but I already had a copy of Easy CD creator 4.0 and Direct CD 3.0 from my previous yamaha burner. Now this new CRW 44X is not recognised by easy cd creator. Can anyone please help me. I do not like Nero specially because Incd does not support CDR whereas Direct cd fully supports CDR too. I did go to the local dealer but he is also not able to help.

regards

Ali

I think you will need to upgrade your software to EZCD 5 or whatever they have as the latest one out. Your drive is too new for that old software....

Maybe, but I wonder what the penalty is for software piracy in Dubai?
They slice a lump off your computer? [}:)]

Anyway, never mind ECDC, does DIRECTCD see it, as I believe DirectCd is only interested in a limited command set, rather than the name of the drive.

If you install Nero and NOT InCD - it will co-exist (but not happily) with DirectCD - though DirectCd tends to disable after Nero has been used - I said it wasn't a happy relationship!

no it is the same for both ECDC as well as direct CD. Both do not recognise it at all.

So any more suggestions?
