I've tried to update the firmware 2.0 of my PCRW804K downloading the flash tool from www.pcstuff.philips.com
After reboot, the drive is recognized correctly by the system bios, and Nero 6.4 tells the firmware is updated to 2.5. But it don't reads nothing and the "disk in" led flashes continuously. Can someone help me? Could I in some manner restore the previous firmware if I find it? Does someone have the Flashtool with my original firmware 2.0? And does someone know if the localization (I'm from Italy) is relevant for the firmware? Please, HELP!!!

I don't have the 4 pins on the back that allow me to jumper it while I flash.
