I own a Creative 121032 writer that known as a Plextor clone.
Now new firmware 1.09 was released for Plextor 12/10/32A, but I can't hack it and upgrade it on my Creative 121032x.

I used to upgrade it for firmware 1.08 but not firmware 1.09.

any suggestion?

Well, this may or may not help you but I was able to successfully update my TDK 12/10/32 (another Plextor clone) from 1.08 to 1.09 by using TDK's flasher from their 1.08 update along with the actual Plextor 1.09 firmware by renaming Plextor's firmware to match of what TDK's flasher wanted. BAM!: instantly updated to 1.09 while retaining the TDK drive naming. And since TDK hasn't released 1.09 for their drives (and probably never will), this was the only was for me to update. I don't know if Creative did the same thing by simply modifying the Plextor flasher to have their own drive name like TDK did. If they did though, it makes updating it as easy as it was for me.
