We have transfered all Topics, Replies, User accounts (login names and e-mails) to the new FORUM successfully.

Unfortunately, due to the new design, all Passwords need to be reset! To do this:

1. Press the Login link at the upper right corner of this page.
2. At the pop-up window press the link: "Forgot your password?".
3. Enter the e-mail you have used for registering to our old forum and press the button: "Send me my account info".

An e-mail with your Login name and Password will be send to you containing a link.
Press on this link through your e-mail reading program and a page of our new forum will open.

By doing this, a new e-mail will be sent to your same e-mail account containing a temporary password you can use to gain access to the new forum.

That's it. Next, if you like to set a password easier for you to remember (or even set again your older password), as soon as you login with the new temporary password, please press the link: "My Profile" at the top of the page.

Next press the link: "Change Password", at the top-left of the page, to make the changes you like.

If you have a signature please go to: "My Profile" and change the letters used inside brackets [] to all LOWERCASE, with NO spaces between opening and closing tags. Otherwise, your signature will not display correctly.

Everything else should be OK. If you feel there is a problem, please use our forum's built in system to send your suggestion to admin. If this is not an option for you, please use the forms in our main web-site to communicate with us.

Thank you all for the contribuion. We hope you will find our new forum more functional, much faster and more option complete.

I would like a way (quick and easy) to send a reminder about a new post (topic/reply) to members of my buddy list.

Anyone knows how to do it?

Adding a buddy to contact and with private message? or with a simple Fwd action?

I haven't figured out yet how to send a reminder for a new post to some other forum member...

OK, I figured it out: press the F@d button at the top-right of a message and insert an e-mail address.

I would like to also accept a member's login name, or even better present me alist with the names of members in my list.

It's gonna take some getting used to!

In fact, to be honest .... AARGH! IT'S HORRIBLE!

I liked the OLD VBB better than the new, I liked SNITZ better than VBB3.

I prefer hard, contrasty icons to the current trend of soft and not instantly distinguishable ones.

AGREEEEEEEE

Messages since last visit were displayed as groups forum related. That was the big advantage.

I have put extra shortcuts to the requested links at the top of the page for the topic and message view pages.

Please let me know what you do not like in the new forum, or what should be changed and, provided there is a good reason for this, I will try to please anyone...

One thing that really grates, is that it's the reverse of just about every other forum, with the active/new post indicator AFTER the forum instead of before (well, usually a marker that changes colour).

Or am I remembering right, that the sub forums were "opened out" before? (blocked under headings, rather than as subordinates?)
