hi, has anyone this hex-version? or perhaps any tips how to flash the atmel-chip on the lg-burner with a binary (cause mtkflash doesn't work with it)
thanx for your answers

of cause i have looked there (and all the other firmware- sites and forums) and i only found the v1.03 as binary (cybagirl read it out) but my burner has an atmel-chip instead of the normally mediatek (which is supported by mtkflash)
so i have no other ideas, but i thank you for your answer

Amtel is the type of memory. Your drive still has a mediatek chipset. You can get your hex file by extracting it from this self extracting zip file: http://www.lge.co.kr/open_data/1043038564390GCE-8480b105(KW).zip

Give me the 1.03 binary and I'll convert it to hex for you if you think that will matter.

@dhc014: heres the link http://www.cdr.cz/rekordery/lg_electronics/firmware/8480b/8480b103.zip
and my mail adress is: borsdel@gmx.net
i tried to convert the bin with bin2hex and hex workshop, but it didn't work, i think the ?memory-adresses were totally wrong? or because of 8/16bit perhaps? - so it went wrong and i had to flash to another version
have a try and thank you
