Nokia N95 8GB Gets Firmware Update

Nokia N95 8GB Gets Firmware Update

Smartphones Jan 4,2008 0

The Nokia N95 8GB has been on the market for only a short time, but has already seen its share of system software updates. The latest of these brings a number of enhancements to speed up this high-end smartphone. Foremost among these are a speed boost for the Gallery and Search applications, and a speed boost for accessing the internal 8 GB of Flash memory. Another significant improvement is that Flash Lite 3 and Flash Video (.flv) are now fully supported by the web browser. In addition, several bugs have been fixed. To update a N95 8GB, connect the device to a host Windows PC and run the Nokia Software Updater application. The update (v15.0.015) is still being rolled out, and so some country-specific editions might not yet be available.
