The next wave of Honeycomb tablets has arrived by Acer, Asus and Motorola, based on Nvidia's Tegra design. Four devices that are now hitting the streets.

ASUS?s Tegra-powered Eee Pad Transformer TF101 tablet is available today at Best Buy stores and online, joining Acer's Tegra-powered Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablet, which is available in stores. Starting at under $400, the Eee Pad Transformer brings new, affordable price points to tablets running Honeycomb (also known as Android 3.0).

The Eee Pad Transformer comes with an optional docking station, which transforms the device into a full-fledged notebook with a QWERTY keyboard, and extending battery life up to 16 hours. It also features a 10.1-inch screen, front (1.2MP) and rear (5MP) digital cameras, built-in SRS Sound technology and a mini-HDMI output port.

The Eee Pad Transformer's price is $399 for the WiFi 16GB model.

The Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablet is also now available at Best Buy. It's designed for mobile HD entertainment, featuring a slim design, high-resolution 10.1-inch multi-touch screen. It also has 10-point multi-touch and gyrometer control for playing HD arcade games and online 3D games. For digital media sharing, Acer?s clear.fi is also pre-installed. Its starting price is $449.99.

The Honeycomb tablet that started it all, the Motorola XOOM, is also now available in a new WiFi-only, 32 GB version for $599.

These devices join the new T-Mobile G-Slate (starting at $529.99) as the latest tablets that run Honeycomb - the first GPU-accelerated tablet user interface. They offer fast web browsing, Flash support, multitasking, and console-quality gaming with Tegra Zone games.
