ModeLabs Group Innovates and Launches the Bluetrek Metal: The Thinnest Bluetooth Headset in the World

ModeLabs Group Innovates and Launches the Bluetrek Metal: The Thinnest Bluetooth Headset in the World

Smartphones Jun 3,2008 0

After the success of the Bluetrek Bizz, ModeLabs Group today announces the launch of the Bluetrek Metal, an ultra slim, ultra light Bluetooth headset. This new headset confirms the innovation strength of the group with regards for their Bluetooth activities, by offering differentiated products with high added value.

The Bluetrek Metal is a Bluetooth headset whose main used material is metal, it is extremely thin - 4mm thickness - and very light; its weight doesn't exceed 5.5 grams. Its battery life lasts up to 5 hours in talk mode, and more than 7 days in sleep mode.

This innovation was very well received by professionals and retailers alike, during its early presentation at the CeBIT and the CTIA. The Bluetrek Metal is part of the Bluetooth products line developed by ModeLabs Group: the Bluetrek Bizz (3 in 1 USB headset), the Duo Stereo (mono and stereo headset) or even the X3 (water, shock and dust proof). Those products are already distributed by leading mobile phones retailers, and well known by consumers.

The Bluetrek Metal launch illustrates the renewal of ModeLabs Group's line of accessories, and more generally the reorganization of its Bluetooth business in terms of engineering and sales. It also reaffirms the expertness and know-how of the group in that area.

Those technological advances are a testament to the ModeLabs Group R&D teams working on such a competitive market. "Thanks to the use of metal, ModeLabs engineers rose up to the challenge of making an ultra-thin, slick designed and firmly modern Bluetooth headset. The Bluetrek Metal is discreet thanks to its comfort and extremely light weight, and suits perfectly the current consumers expectations. It proves once again the innovation ability of the group, both with the used materials and the design and technologies it was able to conjure" explains Henri-Nicolas OLIVIER, CEO of ModeLabs Technologies.

The Bluetrek Metal will be commercially available everywhere in France in June, and in Europe as well.

Price : 39 euros (aluminium black+silver version) and 49 euros (silver stainless steel version)
