JVC at CEATEC JAPAN 2005

JVC will exhibit products at CEATEC JAPAN 2005 technology show, held from Tuesday, October 4 through Saturday, October 8 at the Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center), Chiba Japan. The Japanese company will exhibit its latest audio-visual technologies, spotlighting the company's high-resolution imaging and 'emotional' sound technologies.

D-ILA DOME THEATER

The system uses 2 sets of '4K2K' 4000 x 2000 pixel D-ILA projectors, which were used in NHK's Super Hi-Vision Theater, one of the pavilions at the recent 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan. The projectors use a special lens to project hemispherical images on the vault of the dome. Viewers will have th echance to experience a large-screen computer graphic demonstration created by projectors with built-in high-resolution D-ILA devices.

New Genessa-Equipped High-Definition Displays

Products on display include the latest LCD TVs and the full HD-ILA rear projection TVs equipped with new Genessa 'Image Intelligence' technology. Genessa is also known outside Japan and the USA as Dynapix or DIST technology.

Home Theater Experience Room

This room enables visitors to experience high-resolution images and high quality sound created from the latest full HD-ILA projectors and SX-L Series speakers sold in Japan. Visitors can also experience high fidelity sound from Wood Cone Speakers and K2 Technology.

Video Recording and Editing with Hard Disk Drive Camcorder Everio

Everio is a video camera with a built-in hard disk drive, featuring compact design, ease of operation, and long time recording. Exhibits include the new lineup comprised of the GZ-MG70 / 50/ 40 .

'Touch and Try' for new Digital Audio Players

Net K2 technology enables users to download song samples. The ?alneo? Series product lineup is led by the XA-HD500 digital audio player with built-in 1-inch hard disk drive, scheduled for release in November in Japan.

GY-HD100 Pro HD Compact Shoulder Camcorder

The just released GY-HD100 Pro HD Compact Shoulder Camcorder uses the HDV 720P format, for proffessional use. Thenew product, which supports interchangeable lenses and 24p recording and playback, will be displayed with various camera options.
