High-Def DaTABANK for Infodisc
DaTARIUS has become the supplier of choice for Infodisc Technologys high-definition test equipment.
German-based Infodisc Technology, which has concentrated mainly on DVD since its inception in 1999, has begun production of high definition format in 2006.
For HD QC, Infodisc opted for the multi-format platform DaTABANK from DaTARIUS. "For some years we have been supplying discs in the European market for major studios," says Michael Gutowski, CEO of Infodisc. "It is crucial for us to ensure the highest possible quality of the packaged media that is delivered with the names of these customers."
The Infodisc facility in Renchen was equipped last year with a DaTABANK containing both an HD DVD driveCube 1X and a DVD driveCube 1X 4X. "The DaTABANK was a clear choice for us a unique reference platform testing DVDs, HD DVDs and BDs," adds Gutowski. "We will extend our production to Blu-ray Disc as well, so for us the DaTABANK investment is a future-proof one."
