The GameMax GX-1050 Pro performed great during our testing either with OCCT Enterprise Edition (Power Tests) or gaming with the latest game title. The 1050watt of power supply does help dame the MSI 4090 card power spikes and even with the latest Intel CPUs you are covered, futureproofing your investment.

- Conslusion

The GameMax GX-1050Pro is a new proposal for the ATX v3.1 and the upcoming PCIe v5.1 protocol, that will support newer graphic cards than the existing one. The new GX series comes in various capacities, 650/750 and 850 watts, and depending on your needs you can buy one of them, and if are worried, there is an online PSU calculator as well.

The retail package is complete, we didn't miss anything. The included cables have a flat design, and great build quality and, as was expected, the 1050Watt model, includes a 600watt 12V cable for those hungry graphic cards. During our testing, we didn't find any problems or sudden failures, which is nice. All new rated ATX v3.1 Power Supplies, are expensive since they need to withstand increased loads for short periods. GameMax offers 10 years of warranty -as most of its competitors- and the product is rated as 80 PLUS Platinum certified, which increases overall efficiency.

The retail price is rated around $160 over Amazon USA with a -$20 coupon, EU prices may differ. There is no RGB love with the GX lineup, even GameMax has other power supply products with ARGB included. Price-wise, there is strong competition from other well-known vendors and we feel that GameMax GX-1050Pro can easily be your next power supply to keep you with many years, hence the 10 years of warranty.
