Orange County, 5th September 2002. DaTARIUS Technologies, manufacturers of test systems for the optical disc industry, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets of CD Associates Inc. DaTARIUS expects to hire many CD Associates former staff, along with Bob and Carolyn Dobbin, the former owners of the business. DaTARIUS believes that this acquisition will allow it to expand rapidly in the American market and the company will benefit greatly from the technical strength brought to the group by Bob Dobbin.

DaTARIUS is already well established in America with sales and service offices in Orange County. The company also recently expanded in the Detroit area, servicing the East Coast, through the purchase of the optical disc business of Integral Vision in August.
