Apple has made available the ltest operating system for the new iPhone 3G S model. Some of the improvements include the 'shake' function that makes the iPhone shuffle to a different song as well as the support for Stereo Bluetooth. The previous IPhone 3G model could not stream audio to Bluetooth 2.0 + devices. Now the IPhone 3G S model can be connected to compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones, car kits, or other accessories. You can also change the BlueTooth device that will reproduce your iPhone's audio using a button on your iPhone's menu.

The new 'Shake to Shuffle' function allows you to give iPhone a shake and it shuffles to a different song in your music library. This feature can be also disabled.

In addition, two or more iTune Store accounts can be created directly from your iPhone. You can also log in to your YouTube account to save and sync bookmarks and rate favorites.

Quickly and easily cut, copy, and paste text from application to application can be also done. Select entire blocks of web text with a tap. Copy and paste images from the web, too.

The new OS also allows you to rotate iPhone to landscape to use a larger keyboard in Mail, Messages, Notes, and Safari. The keyboard supports 30 languages and more than 40 keyboard layouts.

Send MMS messages and include video, photos, audio, and contact info. Even tap to snap a picture or shoot a video right inside Messages.

The 'Spotlight Search' function allows you to find what you?re looking for across your iPhone, all from one place. Spotlight searches all of your contacts, email, calendars, and notes, as well as everything in your iPod.

The 'Voice Memos' function allows you to capture a memo, a meeting, or any audio recording on the go. Voice Memos works with the built-in iPhone microphone or with the mic on your headset.

The Safari browser has been also improved and it is faster, supports HTML 5 while offers autofill function for user names and passwords.

An automatic Wi-Fi login function allows you to log in to a Wi-Fi hotspot and iPhone automatically logs you in when you connect again.

With the availability of iPhone OS 3.0, MobileMe members can now use Find My iPhone to help recover a lost iPhone or remotely wipe the personal data on it. The new iPhone 3G S also lets you shoot video in addition to photos, and sharing those videos on your MobileMe Gallery works exactly the same. From your camera roll choose what you want to share ? video or photo ? tap the arrow in the lower left corner, and choose Send to MobileMe. Enter a title, choose the album you want to publish to, and tap Publish.

You can update your iPhone 3G S model to iPhone OS 3.0 through the iTunes 8 software installed in yout iPhone.

Apple Thursday laid out the launch of the next-generation iPhone 3GS smart phone. AT&T said that 3GS iPhones will be available on Friday morning at 2,200 of its retail stores and at all Apple stores in the United States.

AT&T said that 3G-S iPhones pre-ordered from it online are being shipped. A 16-gigabyte iPhone 3GS costs 199 dollars while the 32-gigabyte model is priced at 299 dollars, providing buyers sign up for service contracts with exclusive US carrier AT&T.

The prices of iPhone 3GS models jump 200 dollars if buyers don't match them with qualifying AT&T service plans.

Pricing for service plans begins at 70 dollars per month, according to AT&T.
