Overall I'm happy with the Ultra Products 200VA. It works and has survived Missouri power outages and brown outs making sure my system avoided failure. The bundled software shutdown the computer in 5 minutes and all was well. Only when disabling the Windows shutdown feature did we have any gripes. From our testing the unit works flawlessly when run with the UPSMON software, but we don't agree with the specifications on the box. Our test system lasted 35 minutes on the battery and took over 15 hours for the battery to reach 90% capacity. Our findings showed the unit lasted half the advertised time and took 2.5 times longer to charge than the box claimed.

The Ultra Aluminus case may look like your standard Chieftec case, but do not be fooled by first impressions. It is much different under the hood (or side panel for that matter) and has a lot to offer. The perfect paint job just rounds up the entire case which can hold up to 12 drives, has a removable motherboard tray and space for two 12 cm fans. If you are looking for something unique, check out this case.

Power supplies come in just about every conceivable configuration. High wattages, single 12V rails, dual 12V rails, triple, quad. You name it, you can find it. One of the newer things we're seeing here in the states is active PFC (power factor correction). Today we take a look at an existing PSU that's been souped up with APFC and a hidden difference.

When it comes time for an upgrade, there are always two roads to choose - the low road, with well priced products that'll do the job you need them to, and the high road, filled with all sorts of flashing lights, blazing fast options, and crazy promises. Of course, what separates these two paths (and usually by a long shot) is the matter of price. On the test bench today, we have a pair of memory sticks which offer decent timings with high capacities at a fairly reasonable price. Along with that, they come with assured compatibility and the availability of full time technical support; something which many "Value" products can't match. With that in mind, it's just a matter of seeing if the performance can keep up with the price, and as such, let's get down to the sticks themselves...

Ultra products is based in Fletcher, Ohio and offers a wide range of products (too many to list here). We're talking PSU's, cases, Bluetooth headsets, case cooling, Memory and more. Today's technology is ever changing and almost all us have and use a cell phone. The first cell phones were huge and clumsy but they evolved to sleek and sexy. The one drawback was the headsets or ear pieces were all wired. I was constantly getting the wire caught on things. With the introduction of bluetooth enabled phones came wireless headsets, for which I am eternally grateful. That's what we are looking at today. The Ultra Mini Bluetooth Headset. Read on...

Ultra has managed to design a case that can be both be trusted with my hardware and also stand out at a LAN party. There is a lot to like about the Aluminus. Somewhere between the amazing paint job, flawlessly finished, the super easy and efficient installation, the roomy interior, the wiring options, the oversized window, and the rubber grommets, greatness ensues...

All too often we read reviews of power supplies that are not cheap. Some good power supplies can run between $100 and $150, if not higher! Not everyone has enough money for a top end PSU, so we are taking a look at Ultras Value line-up to see if they would be a good choice when you are low on cash...

The Ultra Aluminus case is a build of the ever popular Chenbro chassis. But Ultra takes the chassis a few steps further by adding a shiny coat, motherboard tray and light weight to the mix. Let's see if the Aluminus is the next case for you...

ULTRA has listened to the enthusiast crowd and has come up with products that cater to the gaming/enthusiast niche market and left just about every other maker scrambling to catch up. They were arguably the first to offer a fully modular PSU with the original X-Connect line which continued to evolve until its discontinuation recently. There is a matter of debate in the enthusiast community about the original X-Connect and their viability but I can't take sides since I've never had direct contact with the original product but I can tell you this, ULTRA listened and reacted by releasing the newer version which is what I'm looking at here today. Read on...

The Ultra Line of PSU's are now well known in the computer world, and are better known by the PC performance crowd. They have not yet garnered the reputation that OCZ or PC Power and Cooling has, but they are working on it. This power supply doesn't have anything new to offer except the flat cables, but it does offer a whole lot of juice to your components. I could tell that there was an improvement from going to 520W to 600W. If you need a power supply that looks good in your case without all the bling, has plenty of power, and allows you to route cables behind and under other components, take a hard look at the Ultra Products X-Finity 600W power supply. Take them seriously, I think Ultra plans on being here for the long haul...

When we put our hard earned money down for any purchase it is nice when we get what we pay for, much less getting something with all the bells and whistles. So the key word for this review is definitely options. The Aluminus ATX Full-Tower Case seems to have thought of everything that would make building your own computer easier. While also throwing in the practical, and functional components that will make it look like a professional did the work...

There is a saying that you might have heard before, it goes a little something like this. You can't have your cake and eat it to. WRONG! The Ultra X2 power supplies looks and performs great. The X2's chrome finish makes it a gorgeous addition to any case. And the Flex Force cable extensions are a step away from the norm. Not having to deal with messy and ugly non-sleeved cables is a reason to never go non-modular again. Lastly, the blue grow adds a little spice to it. What is more important to most than looking good is performance. During testing we seen that the X2 performed right on par. So, there is no reason to fear a lack of power to run your system...

Ultra has recently released a new case called the Aluminus. It's quite similar in design to their Wizard case, but it's been amped up in every single way. This is not just a normal case anymore, they have pulled out all the stops. Let's see how great Ultra can impress us this time!

A 7-Port Buddy Hub is a nifty new product from Ultra Products that is perfect for any small home or office business that needs to share resources but doesn't have the network for it. It is designed to eliminate that contortionist act that you have to do to unplug USB cables from the back of your computer when you want to use your peripherals on a different computer, all with the simple click of a button. However, with the quirky behavior concerning USB devices when it comes to Windows XP, can this product still manage to deliver what Ultra says it can? Let's find out...

When looking at powers supplies we may think of them in basic terms. They serve a very necessary purpose in the make up of the computer. It only stands to reason that we want one that will perform to the fullest. Being that PimpRig is primarily a modding community we also want to have it look good while doing it's duty. Or even better have the potential for being modded. The Ultra X-Finity strictly based on eye appeal has got it going on. The cabling really is the crown jewel on this unit. When it came to performance the X-Finity delivered on everything that is promised...
