The Olympus SP-510UZ falls short on just about every point. Read our review before even thinking about buying this camera.

In terms of physical appearance, the FE-150 is unremarkable. It has a square-cornered shape, and its aluminium body is finished in a brushed metal texture with chrome details. Measuring 90 x 55 x 24.5mm and weighing about 150g with the battery it?s just about small enough to go in a shirt pocket. Build quality is adequate, but the body metal feels very thin and flimsy, and would probably dent or scratch easily.

The E-500 should secure Olympus a place on the lucrative consumer D-SLR shelf alongside the Nikon D50, Canon EOS 350D and Pentax *ist DL. It is a very well designed camera, combining excellent picture quality, outstanding performance and lots of creative versatility, while still maintaining beginner-friendly simplicity and easy handling. It is a genuine pleasure to use, and produces superb results. If you're looking for a good SLR for under £600 with a lens, then it should definitely be on your shortlist...

The 10x Olympus SP-500UZ is in the thick of a tough fight with Canon, Kodak, Konica-Minolta and Sony, all battling for photographers who want powerful zooms that are great for all-around use, especially vacations. It has some good things going for it and some negatives. Most of you can live with but I had a tough time dealing with the uneven focusing...

It doesn't have the performance or picture quality to be the compact semi-pro model that it pretends to be, and it does have a few significant flaws, but nonetheless the Olympus SP-350 is a decent camera, with very good build quality and handling, excellent high-ISO noise control and a useful range of photographic controls and extra features...

The Olympus FE-110 will make a great camera for the consumer who needs a very affordable model with good image quality, but doesn't necessarily need to be able to capture images at blazing fast speeds or record high-quality video. Its 5-megapixel SHQ images can create beautiful prints up to 13x19-inches. Not bad at all for $200 or under! If you like the features of this camera, but don't need 5-megapixels, be sure to check out its 4-megapixel brother the FE-100 that costs about $50 less...

It may be questionable whether anyone really needs an 8MP compact, but there's no denying that the Olympus mju 800 is an extremely good camera. Build quality, ease of use and performance are as good as ever. The Bright Capture technology makes low-light photography much easier, and the image quality in SHQ mode is superb. If you simply must have A3-size holiday snaps then it's ideal...

The m:robe MR-100 is a weeny 5BG player, not too badly priced, and designed with the style conscious user in mind. Olympus has just one other digital media unit in its portfolio at the moment, the MR-500i, a
larger music and photo manager with a 20GB hard drive and (naturally) an integrated digital camera...

The Olympus m:robe MR-100 has all the earmarks of a simple stylish digital audio player. It's simple and easy to use and has above-average playback quality. It also offers a large capacity of 5GB in a very compact package and that includes an internal lithium-ion battery! Its glass-fronted design with inverted display LCD certainly makes it stand out as a unique-looking player, if not one of the best-looking audio players in the market...

The Stylus Verve S is a great choice for those with an active lifestyle who don't stop just because it starts raining. It's also good for the family or anyone that spends the day at the beach or a ski resort. With an MSRP of $299 it offers a very good value. Just make sure you add at least two items to your purchase; a larger xD-Picture card and a second LI-30B battery...

A better quality alternative to the cheap, unfamiliarly-branded cameras you'll see in supermarkets and catalogues. Build quality is excellent, picture quality is acceptable for snapshots and there has never been a digital camera that's so easy to use. Slow performance, no manual functions and the lack of an optical zoom are handicaps making its value mediocre. One for the kids, but splash out more if you want something with greater functionality.
