Antec gained fame originally for its cases, but has recently become just as well-known for its outstanding line of power supplies. Antec impressed ThinkComputers with its TruePower Quattro series of quad 12V rail, modular, and 80% or greater efficiency power supply units. Antec recently introduced a new line of power supply units with even greater efficiency, the Signature series. This series of units is not only more efficient, but quieter and higher quality altogether. ThinkComputers reviews the 850W version in this article.

Antec has been on the forefront of quality case design for some time. While not always the flashiest of cases, Antec's build quality and functionally generally ranks toward the top of the charts. However, recently Antec has made a momentum shift, and produced a product line to appeal to gamers and enthusiast system builders alike.

Is the Twelve Hundred the "Unbeatable Gaming Case" that Antec says it is? Well, it has all the good things and corrected most, if not all, of the flaws of the Nine Hundred. If you liked the Nine Hundred, you will love the Twelve Hundred. As for the rest of us who have not been face to face with a Nine Hundred, the Twelve Hundred has a lot of nice style to it and it is very easy to work with and in. It also lends itself to be more user tailored than any other case I have used in a long while...

The Signature is a top-of-the-line high performance power supply, available in 650 or 850 Watts and are compatible with ATX12V v2.3 and EPS12V v2.91 standards. Designed to appeal to system builders looking for a truly premium power supply, the Signature uses cutting-edge features, several of which have never before been offered in a consumer power supply. The Signature is Antec's most advanced power supply, positioned

Antec Twelve Hundred is a full-tower case targeted to gamers, with an impressive number of cooling options (six fans with speed control for all of them and also a switch to turn the top fan LED on or off), twelve 5 ?" bays with nine of them available for hard disk drives and several other minor features, like washable dust filters. Let's take an in-depth look on this latest release by Antec.

Planning a new build and don't know which chassis to choose? Does the idea of having a feature-packed mid-tower intrigue you? Well, the P190 is just that, with its intuitive design and two pre-installed power supplies, offering you a total of 1,200W of overkill pleasure. Is the case a true winner? Not exactly, but it's still worth a look.

With the firestorm of success that was and still is the Antec Nine Hundred, how could Antec possibly expand on a design that has won countless awards and accolades? Easy! Introduce the Antec Twelve Hundred, the successor to the Nine Hundred, only in this iteration, take a proven design and make it even bigger, badder, and bolder. With this newest enclosure, Antec delivers a one-two punch that has left other chassis manufacturers reeling. Or has it? Will the Twelve Hundred live up to its hype? One of the last cases to make a hit with the enthusiasts was the recent Antec Nine Hundred. To give you a little recap, it offered front Dual Blue LED 120mm fans along with two internal 120mm fans, a unique side window with the optional 120mm cut out behind the black screen, 200mm top exhaust fan, top mounted front panel ports, and looked pretty cool. You can still find them on several shelves and makes one heck of a mid-tower case. After patiently waiting, we received word that the Antec Twelve Hundred was finally on the way. If you liked the Nine Hundred and just about bought one, you'll really appreciate the Twelve Hundred. It's one of those cases you might just have to have.

Antec Three Hundred is an inexpensive mini-tower case for users demanding a small yet powerful case - according to the manufacturer there is enough room for you to install video cards from GeForce 8800 family in it, featuring three 5.25" bays, six internal 3.5 " bays, one 120-mm rear fan, one top 140-mm fan (both with individual speed control), plus space for installing three extra 120-mm fans (two on the front and one at the side). Let's take an in-depth look on this latest release from Antec.

Early last year, Antec launched their gaming line of cases with the Antec Nine Hundred - instantly garnering praise throughout the PC enthusiast crowd. Its main claim to fame was the complete openess of the front bezel, using perforated bays and 120mm fans to keep airflow rushing inside. Also notable was the expansive interior, bottom-mounted power-supply unit, and oversized "Big Boy" 200mm fan placed at the top that allowed some massive cooling over the CPU socket area. We were able to take a look at the Nine Hundred ourselves and were pretty impressed overall, although we noted there were a few things that could have used some improving.

When it comes to computer enclosures, it's hard not to mention Antec. Known for memorable designs like the original P180 and the recently unveiled Skeletion Open Concept Case, they definitely aren't scared of breaking new ground, but seem to do it in such a way that the products look just as good today as they would five years from now. Although the company builds very high quality and timeless performance enclosures, one area where they haven't been particularly aggressive in is the gaming case market. In order to get more serious about the gaming market, Antec follows up the successful Nine Hundred with the Twelve Hundred.

Earlier we reviewed the P180 Mini from the P1-family and now two cases from the range of Gaming Cases have arrived to our review. The cases this time are the 300 and the 1200, both of which follow the theme set by the earlier 900 model.
