No need to send the firmware bin for K.xC. I downloaded a freeware hex editor and successfully extracted it from the kuc.exe file. It was really easier than it sounds - more intimidating than difficult. I then used mtkwinflash to reflash the device successfully. The only strange thing was my system hung when the flash finished but all seems ok after a reboot.

Can You please explain how to extract binary? Or, please, extract me firmware for 4816P (downloadable from site)A.YZ and D.RC. If You want, I can send it to You wia mail, but... what 's the diference?

Please dear fellow, edit your message and remove your e-mail.

Hi cptsnoopy - could you email me the K.xC bin file for flashing to 5224P? I have mktwinflash and just need either K.RC or whatever the latest bin you have might be.
