Hello everybody, I am new to here and I want to know are there any software can be used to test DVD-R for PI/PO, DC Jitter and modulation?

If you have a Plextor, Plextools can help you. If you have a Mediatek based drive Kprobe can measure PI/PIF but not jitter. DVDinfoPro also works with some drives as well as CDSpeed.

Which drive are you planning to use?

Thank you Iggy.
I am going to use Plextor as the testing driver. Can the Plextools measure jitter and PI/PO for DVD-R?

Yes Plextor PX-712A/716A can measure PI/PO/PIF error rates among with Jitter/BETA and Jitter DC (only for PX-716A), read our reviews for more information
