But the Firmware has not the same structure like other Plextor-writer.

Because that Is a Plextor beta firmware, not production v1.00

Yeah, it was a beta firmware. I'm looking hard at this drive. From what I've read, and with Yamaha being dead, it's awesome.

Yeah.... LOL Dolphinius, I'm not giving up my Yamahopper, but looking to the Plex, cause at least I'll be able to get firmware updates for new media. Seems Yamaha has FAILED us for that now.

Here's a Japanese webpage that offers screen shots of the new plextools in combo with the new plextor premium drive. It shows c1/c2 as well as jitter testing with different media.

Maybe the firmware is engineered to well for an update - I mean It's up there with Plextor firmware for precision
