Hi.

Does anyone know any software that can do average level normalizing that can also limit samples to avoid clipping?

I know some softwares like CoolEdit, sound forge, etc. can do this but they are overkill. I just need one for the purpose I mentioned.

The best sound leveling program that I have found is MusicMatch. It's free at www.musicmatch.com however, Nero does a great job also.

Thanks.

I have questions regarding your suggestions.

Do they normalize by average volume(loudness) or by peak level? I need to normalize by average volume.
Can they do peak limiting or compressing?
Can they do batch processing?
