Great to see that are still people who cares about my "old" 2500 (already flashed to 2510), since Nec dont even cares... thanks :)

I'm not so pessimist. I think there will be another official 2510 update from NEC (a day)...

Beside the MadDog firmware there is NEC, as you can read from the Dangerous Brothers :

It's Mad Dog's own firmware, built for them by NEC, you could always check the dates embedded in the ROM.

We can imagine an official new NEC 2510 firmware coming before 2 months, based on the same work, without SL bitsetting but with some improvements in burning strats.
