Hi,
I have a LG-4160b recorder that initially comes with A300 firmware version.
Some time ago I have sucessfully upgraded firmware to A301.
Now I'm trying to upgrade the recorder firmware to the most recent version - A302, but I can't.
GSA4160A302.exe says "An invalid argument was encountered" when loading, then it shows very very strange main app window

It seems that buttons works, but I'm afraid to press the update button.

Any ideas?

firmware was downloaded from the following link:

http://us.lgservice.com/jsp/common/download.jsp?DOC_ID=KRSWL000012893&FILE_NAME=KRSWL000012893-b1-a1.zip&ORIGINAL_NAME_b1_a1=GSA-4160A302(EW).zip&FILE_GUBUN=B

I'v got the previous (A301) from the same location and burn it without any problems.

Check this out. I have use it and working ok.

Btw do you have administrative priviledges on the machine you are using?

Thanks, but unfortunatelly, I cannot got a valid file from this link - I tried five or six times to DL but everytime I got an corrupted ZIP archive.

Yes, I have administrative privilegies.

Yes, it is full ... and exactly the same as ...(KW).zip .
Finally, I found a way to run the A302 update.
The difference between A301 and A302 is that the first one uses DriveUpdater v1.5 and the second uses DriveUpdater v.1.7.
I don't know why, but it seems that DriveUpdater v.1.7is incompatible with my Windows 2003 Server installation.

Anyway, I successfully run A302 from OS boot disk (Bart PE Loader).
