From a business perspective, they would be foolish to do so. DVD burners have reached their high point and right now it would be hard to come in this late in the game and compete with the likes of Plextor, BenQ, Pioneer, NEC, and LG. Blu-ray/HD-DVD is on the horizon and is set to move in. If Yamaha was going to innovate to get interest, it would have to be there...
