Ive spent a few days searchign and searchin for an answer and maybe the minds out here can help.

Ive got a U.S. PS2 w HD Loader. I Use HDL Dump to put ISO back ups on it. Im currently having trouble with Initial D Special Stage. It installed fine....but acts like a PAL game when I try to play it (rolling screen) I have not had this happen with other NTSCJ games (SF annivers,GG Isuka etc) I searched for some sort of NTSCJ to NTSCU patcher and could not find one....I know the game did came out in europe so I tried a PAL-NTSC patch and that didnt work either.Any ideas?

You do not need a pather for inital d i have it on mine an it works fine hd loader plays japanaese games you dont need to convert them

That is what I thought as well....my Import version of Hyper STreet Fighter played perfectly, but I have tried multiple versions of Initial D (3 so far) and they all act like a PAL game with a rolling screen.

Im currently trying to try two diff versions of special stage, its just a hassle to move my hardware around.

Any ideas or suggestions Nismo?
