I've tried to make a backup copy of this game, but i can't. I've tried clonecd, blindwrite, etc...
First i used clonyxxl to see the type of protection (Safedisc 2.7).
Then used the given settings on clonecd, but the backup isn't recognized as an original by the game.(Please insert correct cd)
With blindwrite i managed to make a backup of the game that is recognized by the game as an original, but when i went to install, it said "Error reading device. Can't copy file models.bar", like it was damaged.

My burner is a RICOH MP7040A.

I finally managed to make a 1:1 copy of Age of Mythology, using CloneCD.

This should also work for all Safedisk 2.8 (like Age of Mythology) protected games.

If you know what protection is on it, one can easily setup a .ccp according to the requirements of the protection and the hardware in use, this is a better way since some hardware require different settings to others (e.g. using a Lite-On with SD2.51.021+ needs no AWS, where as a Ricoh will require that setting to be enabled).

i made a back up no problem using my liteon 401248, i keep my burn speed down to 16x, and of course using clonecd

Must you use clone cd to copy Age of Mythology?
Can you use Alcohol 120?
Which is easier?
What about Nero 5.5?
While we are on this subject I need info from fellow burners on how to copy Sims Unleashed, Medal of Honor Allied assault,,and spearhead.
