Hi, I'm new here. I've looked at all these threads to find a simple list of what I need to do to play backups with a PS2. Can someone give a list of what I need to buy, download, and do to get everyting working. I would really appreciate it!

Also, I don't want to Mod my PS2. I hope there is a way to play games without modding it.

You need to get:

a) PS2 Network Card
b) A (new?) HDD Drive
c) HD Loader/HD Advance
d) WinHIIP Software...

You are set!

HDL DUmp is almost the same as WinHIIP, and no you don't have to mod your PS2!

Oh gosh it's so frakin easy! All you do is set the hdd on master, then align the pins (if they don't alighn then you have the wrong hdd) and plug-it-in. After that carefully place the hdd in the exp bay, and plug the network adapter into the ps2. After that just tighten the screws with a nickel and you are done!
