what?
how bout a link
gona go look for it and try it tonite. I dislike the fact that benq makes changes in firmware and continues to use the same name. such as the b7h9 leaked fw and the official, and now this minor change but still basicaly the same.

Hrm.... I wonder if the BenQ 1620 can burn DVD-Rs at 16x now? It always topped out at 12x even on B7J9

I have not burnt one with b7k9 but poped it in dvdinfo and it only listed it @8x max. I burned one with fw b7h9 and it only did 8x. seems like they making room for new philips 081 or something. its a shame too since c08 was pretty nice @12x. on the other hand the t02 i picked up at best buy does 16X

Nope, TYG02 still tops out at 12x for me... and actually takes about 12min to burn a full disc. Not too impressive

Oh yeah... T02 goes to 16x, that's for sure! But on B7J9 it still had serious quality issues... perhaps B7K9 has fixed this? When I get some more I'll throw another one in and do some testing.
