Does anybody knows how can I backup SYSTRAN PERSONAL 4 EN-GR?
It is an English-Greek translator and here in Greece it is distributed by MLS (the Laserlock Company)
In the root directory it has 3 files: systran.exe, autorun.inf, systran.ico and a hidden folder named HDEAS022 DF. In this folder there are 11 hidden files: HDEAS022.TXT, HDEAS0222.TXT, HDEAS0223.TXT, HDEAS0224.TXT, HDEAS0225.TXT, HDEAS0226.TXT, HDEAS0227.TXT, HDEAS0228.TXT, HDEAS0229.TXT, HDEAS02210.TXT, HDEAS02211.TXT with size 37.107.000 bytes each.
When I Install the program, it runs a cd check which fails on the backup cd.
I tried to backup this cd with clonecd, blindwrite, alcohol 120% with no success. The clony xxl 2010 and tccd scout say UNKNOWN PROTECTION.
Is this a new version of LASERLOK or a new protection from MLS?
I also visited www.laserlock.com and they say that there is a new unbreakable version of laserlock named “LASERLOCK STAR”. I believe that this cd has this protection since it is distributed from MLS.

Possibly, try to make an image using the *new* Securom settings of Alcohol 120% and virtual mount it, maybe this works?

Hello friends.
I m trying to copy this cd at least for one month. I ve tried anything about copy protections. Just nothing. When i looked the disk closer i saw that the inner ring with the cd serial number etc... is a little bigger from other ordinary cd's. Maybe this helps.????

We also tried and nothing can backup it. Maybe wait a while until the software developers catch up

One friend says that the only way is the software *****. There must be a way to turn off the cd check. So waiting is the onlyway

Hi again!
Well I managed to make some working copies of this cd, with alcohol and blindwrite but there is a strange thing.
These copies work only a few times. I mean that I can install the program and to run it from the backup cd but after 5 or 6 times, the backup cd stops working and the cd check fails. Also then I can’t install the program from the same cd.
I find this very strange!

We managed to make the software works only 1 time out of 10 re-tries only with the BlindWrite backup disc. This new LaserLock seems hard to defeat, at least for now

Hello, i have the same problem, i burn many many many cd's trying to copy the systran en-gr, but nothing.
I also have try the systran en-gr,fr-gr,en-por-esp-ger... nothing.

Hi Guys...I guess im having the same trouble as the rest of u!Have burned 10 cd's so far trying all known methods and so far nothing!As for the protection im sure its the new laserlock star since the product is from mls and i really doubt they would pay to use someone else's protection when they have their own!Also a guy i know from mls told me that they used the new mls protection laserlock star and i believe he wasnt lieing(the tend to enjoy it when ppl cant get passed their protection).If anyone finds a way to copy it...or a ***** out there PLEASE share.Why arent there any greek *****ers out there????I mean greeks can invent the damn protection....why the heck cant any greek ***** it and tell us about it!

I ACCOMPLISHED TO MAKE A COPY SYSTRAN, NOT DIRECT. MADE INSTALL THE COPY
SYSTRAN PERSONAL 4 En-gr THAT I HAVE WHICH HOWEVER DID NOT WORK
BECAUSE OF THE LASERLOCK STAR.
I COPIED FROM FILE DICTS THE GREEK DLL'S. AFTER I UNINSTALL THE
PROGRAM I INSTALLED SYSTRAN PREMIUM 4 En-fr-gr-es-pt THAT I DOWNLOAD
FROM the KAZAA AND I COPY THE FILES IN THE DIRECTORY DICTS OF PREMIUM WITHOUT I
MAKE OVEWRITE NO ONE.
AND MAKING CERTAIN CHANGES IN FILE OPTIONS. XML IN ORDER TO IT SEES
THE GREEK DLL'S I ACCOMPLISHED TO MAKE THE TRANSLATOR WORK ALSO WITH
GREEK REGULAR.NO CD REQUIRED.
THATS ALL...

Not sure i really understood..but i think i get what u did....no my problem would be to find a working copy like the one u have for french and so on.....does that mean that the *.exe from your version might work on the one we have so it doesnt look for the protection....i mean why copy everything else and not the other way around?[?]
