He did not call him a name. We wont have that, by him, you or anyone. I left your opinion alone but will not have this sort of thing going on.

So before you start lecturing on Rules I suggest you show LA the respect he deserves and also mention the rules to wauchula or is it because he is Trons old pal?

Don't tell me what to do.

Yes, what do we all think about the new virtual drive, anyone like it??

I have found a bug with v4.1.0.1, if you are a Plextor user, and have installed PlexTools v1.16A and enable Virtual CloneDrive, PlexTools will not start.

If you have the newest version you can select it in the tray icon and it will then add a virtual drive that will allow you to mount an image.

Hi NormaN
Well there is that many versions flying about Clint has got v4.1.0.1
and you have got v4.0.1.1.0 and I have got v4.1.0.0 LOL !!!

Right all joking apart there is only one version at the moment and it is the one I have !!!
And the way to to Use the virtual Drive :-

1> Make an Image of the CD with Clone CD you want to Mount !
2> Double click the My Computer Icon !
3> Right click on the Virtual CloneDrive and select Mount !
4> A window will open and ask you where the Clone CD image is just go to the folder where the image is and select it and just select open !
And there you are Mate the Virtual CloneDrive should now change to the Image you have just mounted and you can either Play, Install the program onto your Hard-drive or Make a copy of it to a CDR by using Clone CD !!!
In get rid of the Image from the Virtual CloneDrive just Right click on it and Unmount and it will be gone !!!
I hope this Helps you to understand it a bit better !!!

Umm looks like there is a need for the admin of this forum to take a carefull look at how much damage can be done by infighting... not a good advert for the forum... but enough said...

Umm CloneCD vs Alcohol
Well as CloneCD can still not make a 1:1 backup of SD2.8 without using the hide cd-r media option i would say its still got along way to come to catch up with Alcohol as Alcohol does not need to use this feature to produce working backups of SD2.8 protection, personaly i think Olli is seeing CloneCD fall behind and Alcohol taking its place hence the release of this version that achives less than Alcohol can at the moment. I think its an effort to keep the Name CloneCD alive its taken along time to come up with a new version that only copycats Alcohol's functions for SecuROM emulation.

Just one last point to anyone having problems with Alcohol, it seems pointless posting your problems where they can not be delt with, thats why there is the support forum over at http://forum.alcohol-software.com post your problems there and you will recieve an answer or mail your problem to support@alcohol-soft.com including your "system report" you will normaly recieve a reply within 12-24 hours but in most cases within 1-2 hours...

Have to agree with you cdrtimes... Pitty it has come to this. Before I was able to use the Virtual drive I had to select the "Virtual CloneDrive" and install the number of drives you want to use. It will then install the drive for you. Then you can mount CloneCD or ISO images by going to the drive under My Computer and right click it, then select Mount image and direct it to your CloneCD image that you made or an iso image. Hope that helps.... One last thing, if you want to use a virtual drive you can also download alcohol 120%, it is capable of mounting many images formats besides Clonecd and iso images. It will do BlindWrite, and Cue Bin format too, and others as well. Not sure what you are looking for....

Do you have the tray icon in the lower right hand corner? Should be there. If not then go to your Start button and find your clonecd folder and you will see the "CloneCD Tray" just click that. Then you should get it. Then right click the tray icon when it come up and follow my directions. You will then have a virtual drive you can use. Gotta do this first...

right click the tray icon it is there. If you do not see it then you do not have the latest version of CloneCD.
