Hello all.

Emperor, I was wondering that with this program could I download ps2 games VIA BitTorrent (like from http://www.suprnova.org/ ) and transfer it onto my ps2 HDD and would HDloader read it? Also, is it only the ISO file needed for it too read? Thanks for any help at all.

I imagine if you can find PS2 images at ISO would work just fine, but also i think other image types are supported

I tried hdl dump .5 but didn't see a extract button, just install, then a browse and delete with a delete button. is there a website for hdl dump?

try WINHIIP, i think its alot better than HDL_DUMP

I am a newbie in this ps2 thing and I interested in this topic.
Can I ask some question:

1. For now HD Loader doesn't support DVD 9 Layer , right? But I read in this topic that if you use HDL DUMB , we can play it (at least that's what I'm thinking) , so which is the correct one?

2. How much size is the HD Loader software? I download the image , but it's only 8 MB , is this the correct one? If not , can you give me the link to download the correct one?

3. WinHiip is just another software like HDL DUMB, right? so why bother using WinHiip since this software doesn't support DVD 9?

1) Yes that is correct with the HDL Dumb and WinIIP can play DVD9 games

2) Sorry i don't know about this subject

3) Well both software are made by different people, so use whatever you find more useful

Hi Guys!

I'm stuck with windows 98, and still want to transfer my winning eleven iso via network cable to my ps2. Is there any compatibility issues between hdl-dumb with windows 98? Anyone using w98 or am I the last of the dinosaurs?

1. Can I play with HD Loader with modded PS2?
2. This HD Loader....can this software break down my PS2? I mean that , is this software can damaged PS2 since it is the third party software?
3. So the DVD 9 layer can be played with the WinHiip or HDL Dumb right? regardless that HD Loader cannot support DVD 9? just for confirmation....
4. What size of HDD that can be supported with HD Loader and PS2? Do the 30gb Maxtor 5400 can do the trick?

2) No it won't break your PS2
3) Yes that is correct
4) From 40GB~120GB should work ok, as for 30GB might work, haven't tried myself

Hello guys. I have a ps2 with HDD UNMODDED and HD ADVANCE. Right, now i want to download my own games and put them in my ps2. Is it possible if i can run hd advance, click convert, insert SWAPMAGIC and then put in my backup whatsoever??? Thanks in advance

Now I wanted to buy the Network Adapter and the harddrive. For the Hd Loader , maybe I will look around the net and download it ^^ (if I found one)
Which one do you think is the best , HD Loader or HD Advance?
Oh yeah , and one more thing :
If I buy the HD Loader in CD Format , can it work if I burn it with DVD Burner and turn it into DVD Format?

Hi! I'm Italian, I'v got a big problem with my ps2 HDD. I tryed to save the Champions of norrath iso in my HDD with WinHIIP but at 100% it crashed. Now WinHIIP crashes everytime I select the hard drive, HDL Dumb doesn't see any of the game that I previously installed, and HD Loader says there are no games installed ad dosn't install any game cause there are no free space......
I think I need some sort of program that can format the HDD or fix this type of problem....
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME....
