I decided to replace my old lite-on 401@811 with Nu-Tech DDW-082

I did some burns and scan with the new drive and since it cant kprobe but can show pie/pif/poe/pof/jitter but only using NicW's DVDinfo pro 3 beta 2.98 I have made 3 scans using the following media.

DVD+R Ricoh-R01 4x at 8x
DVD-R OptoDisk-R004 4x at 4x
DVD+RW Ricoh-W11 4x at 4x

sorry no DVD-RW media maybe later

All media was burned full from iso made from nero speed3 create test disk.

burned with dvd decrypter iso burn.

burn size 4.38gb

So I dont waste server space the scans are located on another forum. please go here to view

Wish I could get scans like that with my DDW-082. Seems that mine is defective. I pulled it from my case and noticed the warranty label has been broken. Guess it came that way so perhaps it was a return that was resold. I'm going to notify NewEgg but I think I have had it too long for an exchange.

Sorry, minos, I meant NewEggs 30 day exchange policy. Anyway I got the RMA approved so I'll have a new one soon. Perhaps I'll have better luck.
