Yeah, unfortunately this would still be Illegal, (according to the "Powers That Be") I believe we have a "LEGAL" right to back up music that we have purchased, just because it's scratched, or unplayable, doesn't mean that we don't have the rights to it any longer. Of course, this will vary depending on which country you live in. But I believe, if I purchase it, I OWN IT.... it's MINE.... you can't take it away. I think it would be "perfectly" fine to send a file for "testing" to see if DRM is on the file....... does anyone see anything wrong with this?
