Hmm ,it's a little sad he doesn't explain the common acronyms a little better ( i mean , it seems it's a tutorial for newbies ). I wouldn't trust Xing as far as i could throw it :)

It was a very good read: Most people producing MP3's don't use LAME to encode their MP3's, nor do they use a quality extraction program such as EAC. These two combined do produce the best quality MP3's that are not distinguishable with the naked ear from the original wave file.
