I just bought a game and I would like to back it up using CloneCD like normal but the new one I find to be a bit misleading. Am i to use the Data CD or Game CD settings? What should I set the settings to? I am use to the old CloneCD but I would like to know how to use the new one. Thanx for helping.

Hi I26
If you tell us what game it is you are trying to Back-up I am sure someone will tell you the settings as most new games have got various Protection on them and the have different settings! Or you could use Clony XXL and it will usually do the settings for you and you will find a good English version of it at :-

I hope this Helps !!!

It would also help if you were to tell us the CDwriter you have.

Try selecting the "Game" icon and it should copy for you. The original settings for that profile should work.

Well if you use Clony as I suggest it will do them for you and then you can see what they should be !!!

Soldier of Fortune 2 has CD-Checks on it and this is the most common protection which is used to check if the CD is available or not. And you can copy the game by using Clone CD with no problem!!!

I've made an Image file (USING BLIND READ)of Grand theft auto,(both discs), Soldier of fortune 2 (both discs), Spiderman (both discs), and V8 challenge. (ALL PC GAMES). Can I use Clone cd and clony xxl to write it to disc?
I burn them all to disc using Nero (.cue file) but it Nero doesnt seem to allow me to play the games. Can I use the discs that I burnt with Nero again?...that is burn them with Clone cd using clony xxl. would the copy protections be still on the Nero discs? and how the hell do you use clony xxl and clone cd together. also do I select the GAME CD at the start of clone cd. your help will be greatly appreciated all thanks.

Hi pugz18595
All you need to do is put the Original disks in your CD Reader and then scan them with Clony XXL and pass the Settings over to Clone CD and then burn them with the Clony settings Button !!!
