Hi,

I have been having problems burning CDs using the disc-at-once and session-at-once mode.

Everything works fine when it's in the track-at-once mode, but in the other modes, my PC hangs even before the drive starts to write.

I've checked that my ASPI layer is OK. Tried using VCDEasy (which uses CDRDAO 1.1.5). Even tried unchecking "Auto insert notification", but to no avail.

I'm using Adaptec Easy CD creator with my Matshita CDR-W CW-7585.

Any ideas/help is appreciated!

Probably the problem lies in the drive itself. I don't know if there is a firmware updater for your drive. Have you tried Nero?

Just go to the search at the top of the Page and type in Firmware and you should find everything you want to know !!!
