Guys, I need help big time. Just finished burning my 10th coaster trying to back up Warcraft III. I am using Clony XXL 2003, CloneCD 4.001, Lite-On 36x to burn, and Toshiba DVD drive to read on Windows 98SE. Please help!!!!

Guys, I used a Lite-On 32X drive and a Toshiba DVD drive along with Clony and CloneCD, well, I made a working copy of WarCraft 3. Why is it that so many people having trouble with the Lite-On drive? That's very strange to me![?]

The "hide cdr media" is greyed, what must I do? I am using clonecd 4.0.1.10

Well all I will say is that if you were to tell the computer that it was in Canada it would then not be greyed out. You can do that in the Control Panel in your region settings. Or there is a small patch that will open that option up.

use the latest clonecd4.1.10 with these settings


Read Speed: Max

Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks

Read Speed Audio: Max

Audio Extraction Quality: Bad

Read SubChannel Data from Audio Tracks

Always Close Last Session
if your writer is Lite-On use these settings


Read Speed: Max

Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks

Regenerate Data Sectors

Read Speed Audio: Max

Audio Extraction Quality: Bad

Always Close Last Session

You are right ! I changed settings to Canada, and "hide cdr media" was resurrected. Funny isn't it . What's in the mind of the author.

If these requirements are not met, you will not get a pefect back-up.

I have read your post and have a question , i am trying to copy ART OF CONQUEST ( empire earth add-on) and my reader/writer is an AOPEN 1232 and CLONECD says it reads at 1,982 kb and wrties at 1,200+ . The game has the NEW SECUREROM , it my hardware is the problem , them what do you suggest to fix it ???
