i'm new to this game. How the hell do I change the write speed when burning on the fly in nero express? It defaults to 12x then screws up everytime. It allows me to alter the speed using any other option but not on the fly.

Cheers
Steve.

The second screen on Nero Express is the copy from and to screen. At the bottom of that screen is where you select the Copy speed.

OK I found out what Express is. Now the million dollar question is can I get to it if I have upgraded my retail Version of Nero to 5.582? I just read that someone was able to get to it in the demo buy use a /w switch. It did not work for me however.

Anyone out there know?

Ok do the following:

Nero Express hidden in Nero v5.5.8.2

In "Start"-->"Run" type:

nero.exe -w

Done, you have the new, more user friendly version of Nero, based on that same engine

Or you can use Nero Runner which is a little program that lets you pick Nero Burning or Nero Express.

To Download it just go to.

and follow the easy instructions

If you go into "Copy Entire CD" option on the first screen then it gives you the copy to and from screen as you say but doesn't allow you to alter the write speed. That is only available if you choose the other options on offer. I need to know how to change the speed using "Copy Entire CD" option.

That's weird. When I select "Copy Entire CD" the next screen with the from drive and the to drive, at the bottom of the screen I can set the speed, maybe you have a different version of nero.
