Hi john
i was reading your review of the cebit '02 and i saw that LG have made a Combo drive (cdrw & dvd) ..... gcc-4320b [32/10/40/16] do you know when this combo drive will be available ???? and how much it could be ?? ..

.....and if you know when the liteon [32/12/40/16] will be available can you tell me ...

.....and if you know when the Samsung SM-232 [32/12/40/16]will be available can you tell me ...

Hi,

We don't have much information about LG drives. As for LiteOn/Samsung, if i remember correctly LiteOn should be out around summer (possible Samsung too).

can you tell me something : in your review of the cebit 02 on the page of samsung you said that the SM-232 (32/12/40/16) was going to be the fastest Combo drive (for now

) but on the website i gave ya in my previous post the SM-232 is just a 32/10/40/12 ..... there a huge difference here, 10x RW and not 12x RW and the DVD 12x Read and not 16x Read ....... can you tell me why Samsung changed that ??? oh and finally do you know when you will review it since that this website already made a review of it .....
oh and my last question can you tell me if they liked the drive at the cdrinfo.co.kr website because i only see this thing on all the page : "??????" every word is like that :( and Finally do you know if Lite-On or LG will change the speed of their upcoming combo drive too or they will stay with 32/12/40/16 (Lite-On) and 32/10/40/16 (LG)

Sorry i don't have much information from Samsung about SM-232 but its possible that they have decided to changed specs till the final product comes out.
